About SRM Institute of Science and Technology
SRM Institute of Science and Technology (formerly known as SRM University) was established in 1985 by the Founder Chancellor, Dr. T.R. Paarivendhar. It is currently operating from Kattankulathur, Vadapalani, Ramapuram, Tiruchirappalli in Tamil Nadu and Delhi NCR Campus, Modinagar, Ghaziabad, Uttar Pradesh campuses with over 55,000 students and 3000 faculty members. It offers a wide range of programs at UG, PG and at Doctoral levels in the streams of Engineering, Management, Medicine & Health Sciences, Law, Science & Humanities and Agricultural Sciences. With 165 MoUs and 60 plus international collaborations, SRM IST offers Semester Abroad Program (SAP) for students. Over 150 students are sponsored to 35 foreign Universities like MIT, Carnegie Mellon, UC Davis, Warwick and Western Australia. SRMIST has been categorized as a “Category 1” University by the Ministry of Human Resources Development (MHRD), Government of India, and has been accredited by NAAC with A++ Grade and placed in top positions in ARIIA Ranking in the academic year 2018-19. SRMIST has been ranked 18 in the University category of the latest NIRF Ranking. SRM IST Vadapalani Campus, Vadapalani Campus of SRM Institute of Science and Technology (formerly known as SRM University) is located in the heart of the metropolitan city of Chennai. It is well connected by road, rail and air. The campus hosts well planned Academic blocks, computer centre, lecture halls, library, laboratories, conference hall, hostel, and a canteen. Campus is enabled with Wi-Fi facility. All class rooms are equipped with centralized Air conditioning, LCD projectors, ergonomically designed seating for students.
About the Faculty of Management (FoM)
The Faculty of Management (FoM) is a constituent unit of SRM Institute of Science and Technology, Vadapalani campus. The FoM, ever since its establishment more than a decade ago, has been successful in setting high standards in teaching and learning pedagogy and fostering an excellent academic environment. The FoM has the distinction of having all faculty members having Ph.D. with experience in the industry and teaching at national and international levels. The FoM runs with a strength of 480 students pursuing MBA in different specialisations and 15 research scholars pursuing Ph.D. FoM launched MBA with specialisation in Banking and Financial Services in the academic year 2023-24. The department organises curricular and co-curricular activities, International Conferences, FDPs at national and international levels, Entrepreneurial development activities, Outreach programs, Programs of Industry and Institution connect, and various student-related activities at regular intervals.

About University of Technology and Applied Science, Sultanate of Oman

About the ICRBSS-2023
International Conference on Reinventing Business Practices, Start-ups, and Sustainability-Responsible Consumption and Production- ICRBSS 2023 brings together scholars, researchers, educators, and professionals from around the world to discuss the latest trends, challenges, and opportunities in the spheres of businesses, regulatory environment, consumer groups, advocacy agencies and the environment at large. The sub-theme of the conference this year- Responsible Consumption and Production is the 12th goal of the UN Sustainable Development Goals. The conference provides a platform for industry experts, policymakers, and the academic fraternity to share their experiences and insights. The sessions are designed to promote interaction among participants through keynote speaker sessions, panel discussions, presentations, and the like.
Conference Objectives

To provide a platform to deliberate the responsible manufacturing practices and consumption patterns and sustainable practices in various functional domains.

Relevance of the 12th SDG
SDG-12 connotes "Responsible Consumption and Production," is one of the Sustainable Development Goals established by the United Nations as part of the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development. It calls for more efficient use of resources, reduced waste generation, and the promotion of sustainable practices in production and consumption. This is crucial in addressing environmental challenges such as climate change, biodiversity loss, and resource depletion. Responsible consumption and production can contribute to economic growth by promoting innovation, resource efficiency, and green technologies. Businesses that adopt sustainable practices can also benefit from reduced costs, improved brand reputation, and access to new markets.

All the papers will be published in the conference proceedings by a leading national publisher with ISBN number (soft copy). The article processing charge per paper will be Rs.1000/- Selected reviewed and accepted papers will be published in Atlantis press conference proceedings, part of Springer Nature group. The article processing charge per paper will be Rs.9000/-
Guidelines for papers Submission & Presentation
The submitted research paper should be an original and unpublished work. The papers below 15% similarity (excluding references) will be considered for publication. The original submissions can be made in English as Conceptual papers, Empirical Research papers, Case studies, Work-in-progress and Doctoral colloquium papers.

Recommended length of the abstract should be between 200 - 300 words.

Recommended length of the research paper should be between 3000 - 6000 words.

Tables, illustrations, charts, figures etc. should be clearly numbered and duly acknowledged.
